During her initial career as a CPA doing accounting and budgeting work Deborah utilized massage to manage stress and maintain her health. Impressed by one of her massage therapists, she dreamed of being able to provide those same benefits to others and to have her own business. Realizing the dream, she graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in 2003 and founded Harmony Ridge Healing Arts in January, 2004. Deborah is licensed in the state of Colorado and is a member of the Association of Bodyworker and Massage Professionals (ABMP).
Deborah integrates techniques from different modalities including swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. Along with chronic pain and stress relief Deborah has worked specifically with clients dealing with anxiety, breast cancer, depression, dystonia, fibromyalgia, IBS, migraines, MS, musculoskeletal pain, pregnancy, and sciatica, repetitive and athletic injuries.
In addition, Deborah is a practitioner of craniosacral therapy. She has received her training in this modality from the Upledger Institute and is currently working towards certification.
